The Weekend Accelerated Bachelor of Science in 护理 (WABSN) Option is a 24-month program that takes place on the weekends, enabling you to achieve a BSN in only two years with the option of working full-time during the week. This program takes place in an accelerated, back-to-back six-trimester format that begins each 五月, and is designed for those who already hold a baccalaureate or higher degree in another discipline. Summary of Requirements
The WABSN curriculum consists of 58 credits of nursing courses that provide you with the advanced knowledge and professional training you need to excel in any area. Our professional courses combine academic lecture and clinical laboratory experience, engaging you in an intense academic study and in hands-on learning that stresses critical thinking, 决策, and interpersonal communication with clients and their families. Courses include Introduction to Professional 护理 I and II; Pharmacologic Agents; Professional Practice Concepts; Principles of Health Assessment; 护理 Research; Parent-Child 护理; 成人 护理 I and II; Family Health 护理; Psychiatric-男人tal Health 护理; Community Health 护理; 护理 Leadership/Management; and a 护理 Seminar that focuses on professional development. All science and social science prerequisites are completed prior to beginning nursing courses.
